Guide to Ring Hand Grips

A guide to buying ring hand grips has been added to the about section. This article should answer all of your questions regarding ring hand grips and accessories that are commonly used on the traveling rings.

There are a few key points I’d like to mention here.

The only reason the grips have “men’s” in the name is because traditionally the gymnastics events that these grips are used for are men’s high bar and men’s still rings; these events don’t exist for women. Since traveling rings are not recognized as an Olympic sport most gymnastics supply stores won’t bother mentioning this (or perhaps they have never even heard of traveling rings). Women are encouraged to buy these grips so long as their hands fit the dimensions specified.

Make sure you get the correct size!
